God Has No Clue

God's perfect knowledge of Himself is the knowledge that He is perfectly incomprehensible. It's one thing to say that my knowledge, my perfect knowledge of God, my adequate knowledge of God is that He is perfectly incomprehensible. But another very different thing is to say that God's own knowledge of Himself is that He can't understand Himself, can't make head or tail of Himself. God has no clue to how he invented Himself. God doesn't really know how He did it! He is bowled over, absolutely and forever. (Douglas Harding. 1976 Interview.)
