Reflection 83

Welcome!

Magic

The only way to unleash irresistible magic, and to think and feel without any negativity, is consciously to station oneself where one has always been anyway, namely at the source of it all, at the unthinkable Origin which is the only real Magician and the only real Power and the only real Affirmation free from any trace of denial. Rejoin that sole and only positive Source, and see what your life is like. (Look For Yourself, Douglas Harding)

Most of the great theocentric saints and spiritual teachers have admitted the existence of supernormal powers, only, however to deplore them. To think that such Siddhis, as the Indians call them, have anything to do with liberation is, they say, a dangerous illusion. These things are either irrelevant to the main issues of life, or, if too much prized and attended to, an obstacle in the way of spiritual advance. (Aldous Huxley)

Comments

Thank you for all the reflections that I have received in the last few months. The reflections inspire me, keep me focused and connected and are uplifting in the sense that sometimes I find a lightness in them that at the source everything is okay. I have been rather reluctant in giving a response to 'the headless way' because I cannot present a success story, no real achievements, no improvements or an easier life for me. Then why am I still doing the exercises every day and turning my attention within during the day, with or without thinking? Why not? It feels natural, it feels good. Regards and thanks, Gerard.
