Always Here

I attend to what is nearer to me than my breathing – this boundless, timeless Awareness. My thoughts come and go in this No-Mind. My feelings emerge and dissolve in this Absence. Change there in the Changeless here.

Each time I come back home to the Source I realize I have always been here. It is what I am, through and through, forever. It is what we all are.

Attaining it is realising you never left it. Rather than becoming aware, you experience Awareness as your very being. On Being Aware, article by Douglas Harding.

Ignorance is departure from home and Enlightenment is returning. While wandering, we lead a life full of pain and suffering, and the world wherein we find ourselves is not a very desirable habitat. This is, however, put a stop to by Enlightenment, as thus we are enabled once more to get settled at home where reign freedom and peace. D.T. Suzuki
