The Power Of The Centre

A thousand years ago, St Simeon the New Theologian in Constantinople said, Man is a dream, a nothing, a dust-grain, but at his centre is God in his entirety. A thousand years ago! Gosh, we’ve still to catch up with that, you know. If you don’t like the term God you can substitute anything you like. But this is coming back to our power, the power of the Centre. It is the power. The kingdom, the power and the glory is at your very centre. That’s where you are looking out of, where you are coming from. Being itself, the Mystery.
